During my recent stay at the charming Firuza Hostel in Borjomi, I experienced a unique blend of value and character in a prime location. Nestled by the Borjomula River and within walking distance of notable attractions such as Borjomi Central Park and the thermal hot springs, this hostel is exceptionally well-situated for history lovers like myself. While the building showcases an older aesthetic, its vintage charm resonated with me. My private room was basic yet comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day's exploration. The balcony overlooking the river offered a scenic spot to unwind or work, although I noted that many rooms lacked this feature. The presence of free Wi-Fi, albeit with varying connection quality, and ample free parking, made my stay convenient. Though the staff's limited English posed some challenges, their warmth and willingness to assist reflected genuine hospitality. In terms of cost, Firuza is a remarkable value given its location and amenities. While it may not provide luxury in the traditional sense, it offers an authentic experience rich in history-an excellent choice for those looking to dive into Borjomi's past without overspending.
